Senior Photos - Downtown Chicago

What an amazing weekend. Full of adventure, cool scenes of the city (more to come later), and photo shoots with seniors (1 guy / 5 girls). I'm starting with Morgan, who was the last shoot of the weekend. Morgan is such a sweet, gorgeous, easy going girl. We did pretty much the whole shoot within a couple blocks of our hotel (the Thompson Hotel).  It's just a block off of Michigan Avenue. If anyone is looking for a fabulous hotel that is near all of the shopping fun, but a little off the typical path, then I would suggest this hotel. Christina (a photographer/friend in Wisconsin) and I met to collaborate and plan for each of our upcoming senior photo seasons! I don't know what it is about the city that makes me feel alive and creative. Maybe it's all of the patterns, colors, and random people. I love taking photos downtown - in NYC, Chicago, Des Moines or wherever!

And I love it when mom let's me take a photo of her and her daughter/son at the beginning or end of the session!
